Red wine. Côte Chalonnaise, Burgundy, France. Sustainable. 100% Pinot Noir. From 60+-year-old vines planted on hard limestone with quartz. The grapes are 100% destemmed prior to fermentation and aging is in oak barrels (15% new oak) for 16 months. Lovely, thick aromas of cherry, red currant, fig, leather, and vanilla. Fuller bodied and exceptionally balanced, with a suave character and moderate tannins. A delicious, slightly rustic finish.
