Red wine. Roussillon, France. Biodynamic. "Lighter weight and leaner than prior vintages, the 2012 Cotes du Roussillon la Muntada has more tannic grip and structure than the Vieilles Vignes, yet a similar level of concentration and depth. Showing nice tart black cherries, new leather, dusty soil and that classic resinous/distilled herb-character that I always find in this wine, it's medium-bodied, has juicy, yet integrated acidity, good tannin and a solid finish. It's a fair step back from a top vintage here, but this pretty, perfumed and classy wine will drink nicely for over a decade." — 92 Points, Jeb Dunnuck, Wine Advocate #218 (April 2015)
