  • Domaine Les Grands Bois Rasteau Cuvée Marc 2017
    $23.00
Red wine. Southern Rhône, France. Organic. 50% Grenache, 25% Syrah, 25% Mourvèdre. "Also stunning, the 2017 Rasteau Marc checks in as 50% Grenache and 25% each of Syrah and Mourvèdre that spent just under a year in demi-muids. Gorgeous notes of cassis, blackberries, ground herbs, and earth all emerge from this rich, Provençal, full-bodied Rasteau. With ultra-fine tannins, incredible balance, and a great finish, it too is one of the finest wines I’ve tasted from this estate." —95 Points, Jeb Dunnuck (September 2019)

  • Domaine Les Grands Bois Côtes du Rhône Cuvée Le Viognier 2019
    $17.00

White wine. Southern Rhône, France. Organic. 100% Viognier. The 100% varietal Côtes du Rhône Viognier is another solid white that offers lots of white peach, flowers and tangerine in its medium bodied, polished and elegant style. Aged all in stainless steel, this wine avoids the trap many viogniers fall into, a lack of acidity. While the peach, tangerine, and fines herbes flavors are all there this wine has a nervousness and vibrancy that many viogniers lack. Great with vegetarian dishes such as a zucchini gratin.

    $19.00
Red wine. Southern Rhône, France. Organic. 50% Grenache, 35% Mourvèdre, 15% Syrah. Organic. "I loved the 2016 Cairanne Maximilien and it offers terrific notes of plums, scorched earth, pepper and distinct minerality in a full-bodied, opulent, unctuous package. Made from 50% Grenache, 35% Mourvèdre and 15% Syrah, drink this smoking good red over the coming 6-7 years." —91-94 Points, Jeb Dunnuck (October 2017)

  • Domaine Les Grands Bois Côtes du Rhône Villages Sainte Cécile Cuvée Gabrielle 2017
    $17.00
Red wine. Southern Rhône, France. Organic. 60% Grenache, 40% Syrah. Organic. "The 2017 Cotes du Rhone Villages Sainte Cecile Cuvee Gabrielle, a barrel-aged 60-40 blend of Grenache and Syrah, hadn't yet been bottled when I tasted it. It's dark, plummy and intense, boosted by hints of garrigue and licorice. Full-bodied, supple and rich, it finishes long and warm but with mouthwatering acids. It should drink well through at least 2023." —91-94 Points, Joe Czerwinski (November 2018)

  • Domaine Les Grands Bois Côtes du Rhône Villages Sainte Cécile Cuvée Philippine 2018
    $17.00

Red wine. Southern Rhône, France. Organic. 60% Grenache, 40% Syrah. The grapes come from 12-60 year old vines in the village of Sainte Cécile. The fermentation and elevage are all done in tank, preserving the minerality and fresh fruit character of the wine. Look for a deep color and good structure. The fruit is deep and concentrated, but still balanced, with flavors of balck plum, cherry, and boysenberry. There are also subtle notes of strawberry, spice, and roses. The wine has a mineral backbone and fresh acidity keep this wine from being one dimensional. This wine will pair happily with burgers from the grill, or for something more elevated try it with duck breast and sauce chasseur.
