White wine. Roussillon, France. Organic. 30% Grenache Gris, 30% Grenache Blanc, 20% Carignan Blanc, 20% Carignan Gris. Produced from 65-year-old vines planted on soils of clay and granite scree. Fermented and aged on the fine lees with batonnage in 50% oak barrels (2 vintages-used) and 50% stainless steel tank. Look for aromas and flavors of citrus and stone fruits, with a hint of earth. The wine is medium bodied and round, but with enough acidity to give it a crisp finish. Pair this wine with richer fish dishes like a cioppino or grilled swordfish.
