  • Serge Dagueneau & Filles Pouilly-Fumé 'Clos des Chaudoux' 2014
    $20.00
White wine. Pouilly-Fume, Loire Valley, France. Sustainable. 100% Sauvignon Blanc. "The 2014 Clos des Chaudoux from Serge Dagueneau and his two daughters, Valerie and Florence, is a fine follow-up to their very strong 2013 version. The wine is deep, ripe and complex on both the nose and palate, with the bouquet offering up scents of lime, a touch of orange, grassy overtones, citrus peel and a lovely base of flinty soil tones. On the palate the wine is crisp, full-bodied and complex, with a fine core, bright acids and plenty of length and grip on the well-balanced and classy finish. The Dagueneau house style is for later harvesting and this shows in the stylistic profile of this wine, but there is nothing heavy or over the top here, just all the personality of perfectly ripe sauvignon blanc in a fine terroir." — 92 Points, John Gilman, View from the Cellar #65 (Sept./Oct. 2016)

  • Gerard & Pierre Morin Sancerre Rouge 2015
    $23.00

Red wine. Sancerre, Loire Valley, France. Sustainable. 100% Pinot Noir. A great example of Pinot Noir from these chalky soils, offering a nose of cherries, coffee, and herb tones. On the palate, it's deep and classy, focused and well-structured, with a bit of tannin to resolve on the long, balanced finish. Already delicious, this should age quite well.

  • Domaine Anthony & David Girard Sancerre 'Les Monts Damnes' 2018
    $28.00

White wine. Sancerre, Loire Valley, France. Sustainable. 100% Sauvignon Blanc. A young Sancerre from warmer, south-facing terroirs of mostly limestone soils with vibrant fruit and near-perfect balance. Floral and citrus-filled with a mouthwatering salinity. With every minute in the glass, this wine adds minerality, and could be even better with a few years in the cellar.
