"The 2014 Clos des Chaudoux from Serge Dagueneau and his two daughters, Valerie and Florence, is a fine follow-up to their very strong 2013 version. The wine is deep, ripe and complex on both the nose and palate, with the bouquet offering up scents of lime, a touch of orange, grassy overtones, citrus peel and a lovely base of flinty soil tones. On the palate the wine is crisp, full-bodied and complex, with a fine core, bright acids and plenty of length and grip on the well-balanced and classy finish.
