Marc Plouzeau

Marc Plouzeau is one of Chinon's most prolific—and talented—winemakers. Thanks to the will of two generations, his family restored Chinon's Château de la Bonnelière to its once-noble status, as well as its original vocation: vineyards and wine.

In 1976, Pierre Plouzeau bought the family property, renovated the castle and replanted the vineyards. In 1989, a modern winery was born, along with a wine: "Chinon Château de la Bonnelière."

Pierre's son, Marc, took over the domain in 1999, continuing to develop, going fully organic, and perfecting the cellar. We're privileged to carry several Plouzeau cuvées from top-notch parcels, all offering outstanding quality and value.
