White wine. Marsannay, Côte de Nuits, Burgundy, France. Sustainable. 100% Chardonnay. Produced from 30- to 40-year-old Chardonnay vines from two parcels situated in the center of the appellation: Blungey (stoney, caillouteux soil) and Les Etalles (clay soil). Half of thee cuvée is aged in stainless steel tank, and the other half in oak barrels (10% new) for 13 months. Aromas of peach, slate, and smoke. Ripe fruit on the palate, but all elements are nicely balanced.
