    Rosé wine. Göttlesbrunn, Austria. Biodynamic. Made from Zweigelt, Blaufränkisch, Merlot, and Pinot Noir, this rosé is gently rounded and sure to be a crowd-pleaser. Given that it's a blend of grapes whose traits emerge to varying degrees in different years, every vintage of this cuvée is a little different, but always exciting and delicious.

"The wine is a fairly deep salmon color and offers up a gently candied bouquet of cherries, watermelon, chalky soil tones and a topnote of dried flowers. Broad, fleshy and dry, displaying good, spicy lift to the raspberry, cherry and blood orange flavors. Smoothly plays richness off delicacy and finishes with solid thrust and lingering red fruit character.

    Rosé wine. Carnuntum, Austria. Sustainable. 70% Zweigelt, 20% Blaufrankisch, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. Pale brilliant orange. Orange pith, cherry pit and succulent herbs on the incisive nose and in the mouth. Textured and tightly focused, carrying no excess weight; a hint of white pepper adds spicy lift and cut. Closes nervy and tight, with a lingering suggestion of anise.

    Rosé wine. Loire Valley, France. Sustainable. 100% Pinot Noir. "The 2019 Coteaux du Giennois Rosé from the Berthiers is made from a blend of pinot noir and gamay. It is a beautiful salmon color and offers up a succulent bouquet of cherries, watermelon, violets and a nice base of chalky soil tones. On the palate the wine is bright, zesty and full- bodied, with a fine core of fruit, good focus and grip and a long, vibrant and surprisingly racy finish. The low yields and good summer months of 2019 have given this wine impressive depth and backend conviction.   • Vignoble Florian Andre Belle Etoile Rose IGP Du Gard 2019

    Rosé wine. Southern Rhône, France. Organic. 50% Cinsault, 25% Syrah, 25% Grenache. Covering an area of 1.5ha, this site is bathed by the sun and swept by the mistral on a flat plain that rich in limestone with a clay subsoil. Entirely hand-harvested organic grapes that have a cold maceration before being pressed. Low temperature fermentation with indigenous yeasts, which allow the yeast to develop its fruit flavors. Aged in stainless steel tank. Given the name "beautiful star" by the Manissy Brotherhood's missionary preist, the grapes originate from organically certified vineyards owned by wine-maker Florian André's mother.

"The 2019 Sancerre Rosé from Clément et Florian Berthier has a fairly deep color, reflecting the concentration of the small berries of this vintage. The wine offers up a deep and vibrant bouquet of watermelon, white cherries, chalky soil tones, a bit of citrus peel and a of dried flowers. On the palate the wine is fullish, bright and quite nicely concentrated at the core, with zesty acids, good focus and grip and a long, succulent finish. This is a well-made bottle of Sancerre Rosé and, due to the depth of 2019, might be even more generous with six months or a year’s worth of bottle age. 2020-2025." — 89 Points, John Gilman, View From The Cellar #87 (May/June 2020)
