For our next wine class, we'll venture outside of France and into the exciting world of German and Austrian wines.
Two grape varieties in particular will dominate the discussion—the bone dry, well-balanced, mineral-laden Grüner Veltliners of Austria, and the floral, aromatic, high-acid Rieslings of Germany.
In addition to becoming acquainted with some new grapes, you'll learn how Austria and Germany classify wines (the labels are a lot easier to read than you might think!), as well as the most exciting regions and top producers.
It's easy to sign up. Each class costs $50/person and will be limited to 10 students, so act fast if you're interested!
