William Charriat Irancy 2013
Red wine. Burgundy, France. Sustainable. 100% Pinot Noir. From vines with an average age of 30 years, though some plantings are over 85-years-old. The soils are clay limestone and while not certified, William practices biodynamic viticulture. Natural fermentation using only indigenous. This wine sees no new oak. Fragrant red cherries and wild strawberry mixed with subtle forest floor scents. The palate is fresh and clean with fine tannin.
