Vines planted in 1945 and winemaking techniques give this Maranges much more depth than typical for the appellation. Aging in 20-30% new barrel. A delicate expression of strawberry, cherry, and raspberry, along with spices and savory herbs. Well structured, with tannins from both stems and barrel, but not overbearing.
