White wine. Côte Chalonnaise, Burgundy, France. Sustainable. 100% Chardonnay. From 52-, 57-, and 87-year-old vines planted on clay limestone and marl soils covered with hard pebbles. Fermentation in barrel and aged 12 months in oak (20% new). Aromatically complex, with a pretty and layered nose of citrus, green apple, pear, and acacia blossom scents. Fine depth and length of flavor on the long finish, where a hint of wood toast can be detected.
