Red wine. Côte Chalonnaise, Burgundy, France. Sustainable. 100% Pinot Noir. From 33- and 57-year-old vines planted on clay-limestone and beige marl soils, covered with hard pebbles. Aged 16 months in oak barrels (15% new). A deeply pitched nose displays notes of fresh dark berry fruit and plenty of earth character. Good phenolic maturity complements the textured and concentrated medium-bodied flavors that culminate in a complex, serious, and balanced finish.
