Rosé wine. Carnuntum, Austria. Sustainable. 70% Zweigelt, 20% Blaufrankisch, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. Pale brilliant orange. Orange pith, cherry pit and succulent herbs on the incisive nose and in the mouth. Textured and tightly focused, carrying no excess weight; a hint of white pepper adds spicy lift and cut. Closes nervy and tight, with a lingering suggestion of anise.
