White wine. Meursault, Burgundy, France. Sustainable. 100% Chardonnay. The domaine is compromised of 8 hectares of vines with an average age of 40-50 years. Emilien is the 4th generation winemaker and works the vines using organic farming. The Cuvée Alexie is made from lieux dites, En Luraule, which adjoins 1er cru Les Gouttes d’Or, and Les Crotots, adjoins the 1er cru Les Poruzots. After fermentation the wine spend a year in barrel and another 4-6 months in stainless steel. Look for a clean bright wine on the palate with flavors of orchard fruit, citrus, and a hint of fresh butter and some toast.
