White wine. Rheingau, Germany. Biodynamic. 100% Riesling. "The 2018 Oestrich Lenchen Riesling Auslese displays a clear and spicy bouquet of ripe and concentrated but clear and healthy Riesling that was picked with 35% of botrytis. Sweet, intense and racy-piquant on the palate, this is a clear and persistently salty Auslese with tension, grip and length and a fine raisin flavor. It's still sweet with primary fruit, but its grip and mineral tension will make this an excellent Auslese with food in 10 to 20 years. Tasted in May 2019." — 92 Points, Stephan Reinhardt, Wine Advocate (August 2020)
