Red wine. Burgundy, France. Sustainable. 100% Pinot Noir. The grapes for this wine come from vines that are more that fifty years old, which give the wine a greater concentration. 30% whole-cluster fermentation and an oak aging regimen that includes 30% new barrels. Expect a deep and structured (for Savigny) wine with some elegant tannins and flavors of cherry, raspberry, cassis, and undertones of baking spices. This would be a superb wine for duck breast with duxelle.
