Red wine. Sudburgenland, Austria. Organic. 100% Blaufränkisch. Produced from the sandy-loam, slate and chalk soils of Burgenland. Spontaneous fermentation with only indigenous yeasts. Aged in large Austrian and Slovenian tronconique barrels for 12 months. Dark ruby with violet highlights. Black cherry, tobacco and spices on the nose. Wild forest berries are perked up by refreshing acidity. Juicy, approachable and persistent, this is a seductive wine.
