Red wine. Côte Rôtie, Rhône, France. Sustainable. 100% Syrah. On the right bank of the Rhône, Sain- Joseph stretches over 26 municipalities from Guilherand Grange to Chavanay. It is in Chavanay, at the northern limit of the appellation, that the estate cultivates its Saint Joseph from vines from 5- to 19-years-old on a unique soil of muscovite granite. Ruby with purple hues, this wine offers a bouquet of red fruit and violet. On the palate, a robust core of berry fruit (blackcurrant, raspberry, blackberry) tinged with black pepper. Look for flavors of leather and licorice to emerge with age.
