  • Gerard & Pierre Morin Sancerre Chant de L'Orme 2015
    $24.00
White wine. Sancerre, Loire Valley, France. Sustainable. 100% Sauvignon Blanc. "The wine is bottled unfiltered and the 2015 is excellent, offering up a bright and complex bouquet of lime zest, pear, a touch of candied orange, chalky soil tones, anise and just a whisper of vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and quite round on the attack for Bué Sancerre, with a good core, fine focus and grip and a long, fairly complex finish." — 90+ Points, John Gilman, View from the Cellar #77 (Sept./Oct. 2018)

Red wine. Piedmont, Italy. Sustainable. 100% Barbera sourced from a 60-year-old vineyard. Temperature controlled fermentation followed by brief aging in tank. Aromatic bouquet of black cherries, plum, and pepper. A fresh, beautifully balanced wine.

  • Domaine Alary Cairanne L'Estevenas Rouge 2017
    $25.00
Southern Rhône, France. 60% Grenache, 40% Syrah. Organic. "

The flagship cuvée, the 2017 Cairanne L'Estevenas is a normal blend of equal parts Grenache and Syrah that was brought up all in concrete tanks. It was made with no fining and was held in bottle six months before release. Deep purple-colored with a rich, full-bodied, concentrated style, it has beautiful mulberry and cherry fruits, notes of ground pepper and aged meat, building tannins, and a great mid-palate. Cellar this beauty for 2-3 years and enjoy over the following decade.
